LGPD
The Senate approved on May 19, 2020, Bill No. 1,179 / 20, which establishes special legal rules during the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, the applicability of the penalties of the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), which was scheduled for August this year, was postponed to August 2021, bill is now pending presidential approval to be passed into law.
