The BPTO and countries of ProSur start their PPH this week.
The Brazilian PTO has launched this week the Patent Prosecution Highway Project together with countries of ProSur. This means that the patent applications of the participating countries which have had the results from their national PTOs can now request a faster analysis on the Brazilian PTO, and vice-versa. The participating countries are Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Equator, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
